About Hermitage Court Farm

Westcourt is an old Elizabethan Manor connected to a farm of 200 acres. It is noted as one of the loveliest old houses on the Island with a restful atmosphere which we are sure you will enjoy if you are able to stay with us.
Westcourt is situated just outside the unspoilt village of Shorwell which nestles on the southwest side of the Island with rolling downs to the North and the English Channel to the South. The Crown Inn at Shorwell is a short stroll away.


Please note our check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out is 10.30 am. We cannot entertain any earlier check-ins.

We can arrange ferry bookings and tickets for our guests. Please ask for details.

This is an ideal walking centre on the Island and we also have storage facilities for bicycles. There is an extensive network of bridleways for those who wish to venture off-road.

The Bed and Breakfast accommodation comprises of two double rooms and one twin room, all of which are en-suite. All bedrooms are provided with colour TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is a comfortable lounge and dining room. The house is fully centrally heated.
