About Brookside Cottage

Brookside Cottage is a family run business, set in large secluded grounds. Retaining much of its original character, the property is located just a stones throw away from a local pub, offering good food and a childrens play area.

Close by there are access to miles of country walks, which "cris cross" the West Wight.

This pleasant 18th century cottage is only 3 minutes drive from Yarmouth and about a 10 minute drive from the Islands County town of Newport. Brookside Cottage has plenty of off-road parking and guests can also use the outdoor Solar heated swimming pool (please be aware this is heated by solar panels only and will not be warm in winter), which overlooks the large lawned gardens.

Offering a choice of B&B (from £25pp,pn - £35pp.pn + single supplements) or Self Catering(from£60, for 2-3 people), this property is the ideal location for people who want to explore the countryside either on foot or by bicycle. Newton Creek Nature Reserve and the north coast of the Island, are only 5 minutes away, as are several good pubs which offer a choice of value for money family food, or seafood specialities.
